"Crikey", the new boy in town

Crikey (Ch. Eszter-Hazi Drotos Boldog CCD NRA Imp. Hun) was born outside Budapest, in his native Hungary, and spent the first 15 months of his life being trained in the traditional hunting skills taught to working wirehaired vizslas.

Crikey's breeder, Eszter Takacs, very kindly agreed to train and care for Crikey for the first part of his life before sending him to his new home across the other side of the world in Australia.

Crikey left a freezing Hungarian winter to arrive in the middle of an Australian summer, and only having ever heard Hungarian speech and commands.

Since arriving, Crikey has gone from strength to strength. At only his first weekend of showing he won Intermediate in Show under Canadian judge, Mr M Beech. Crikey recently qualified for his first obedience (CCD) and retrieving (NRA) titles.
